Beachy Beach 30A works hard and plays hard. They are sponsors of the Seaside School Half Marathon and 5k Run and one reason they chose to sponsor this event is because they “… get to be a part of… happiness.”
Beachy Beach 30A Real Estate is excited to support the Seaside Neighborhood School (“SNS”) and Seaside Foundation. Beachy Beach is a full service boutique brokerage real estate company specializing in the South Walton, Walton County and 30A area. Owned by Chad and Hilary Farnum and Karen and Hugh Smith, they have nearly 60 years’ combined real estate sales and development experience.
The decision to sponsor the race was a no-brainer for Beachy Beach. According to Brittany Matthews, Public Relations Directions, sponsoring this event just made sense. “On one hand it makes sense because one of the major philosophical tenants of our business is to authentically support our community. Service and outreach is a huge part of our character as a brokerage. This event allows us to not only support the school monetarily, but to volunteer our time in a fun and creative way.”
On a more personal note, the Farnum’s children go to SNS and as parents, it is important they support their children’s school. As a school initiative, students and parents are encouraged to volunteer throughout the school year. According to Hilary, “As parents of children in the Seaside School, how can we not be involved? This is one of the most anticipated events of the year and our kids love helping out at the expo booth, it is so much fun for them.” Beachy Beach 30A Real Estate knows how to work hard and play hard and they enjoy meeting new people at the booth on expo day. Through social media, they are encouraging runners to visit Beachy Beach’s Expo Table on Saturday, Feb. 28th where they can get new BEACHY goodies from handmade soaps to performance shirts. They enjoy the positive energy when the runners pick up their packets where the air is filled with excitement and Beachy Beach agents never turn down a chance to put a smile on people’s face.
The impact of the race has a positive effect on Beachy Beach’s business. It gives them exposure they wouldn’t normally have and allows them an opportunity to be out in the community, interacting with people which they love to do. “From a marketer’s perspective, there is no other 30A event that provides such an authentic opportunity for fun community involvement for local businesses, residents and visitors. Our residents get to be a part of something bigger than themselves and help the success of a landmark like the Seaside Neighborhood School, and the guests get an opportunity to engage and support an area they have been coming to for years. This event allows people to take ownership and pride in South Walton… and gives them a positive memory to associate with our area.”
Beachy Beach’s goal for race weekend is to interact positively with as many of the attendees as possible. This allows its staff, realtors and brokers a fun way to get a hands-on approach with new people with the energy and enthusiasm of the Beachy Beach brand. This positive rapport with our brand is the first step in making long-lasting relationships.
An added feature of Beachy Beach is “The Beach Show,” an internet TV show all about real estate on the Emerald Coast. Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/user/thebeachshow.
Beachy Beach has offices in three counties and all of its agents are actively involved in community service. Many agents clamor at the chance to participate in this event because it is just so much fun. Britt further states that every year, there are stories to tell… anecdotes for the realtors to share at sales meetings or with new clients as they tour properties. There is always a story to tell whether the story is about “how cold it was that one year” to “remember the time the wind destroyed our photo booth props?” to “can you believe Suell did that race at 72.”
