With all things turned virtual this year, perhaps more important than ever before, curating an over-the-top, quality silent-auction is paramount. This year, the Silent Auction is stocked with unique and sought-after offerings, ranging from high to low price points, and covering most any type of interest. Have one last spot in your hallway that could use a piece of fabulous art? We’ve got you covered. Made a resolution to get healthier? Look no further. Need a gift sent to a friend across the country? Done.

The categories range from “Arts and Photography” all to the way to “Sports and Outdoors.” (This reminds me that I almost forgot my husband’s birthday!) I digress. I have my eyes on a few standouts not only for myself, but for my family and gifting as well! (Get ready to re-stock that gift closet!) The items I am highlighting here are based on their hard-to-findness; experience-based items for fun family time; self-care (we could all use that right now right?) and travel. Did I mention TRAVEL? (I’m optimistic and dreaming of a safer world in which to travel, in the very near future. Lastly, this is the perfect opportunity to shop “safely” for yourself, family and friends from the comforts of your sofa in your yoga pants with coffee in-hand! Now let’s shop.

Here is a mix of noteworthy auction items that we have our eyes on!

Park City, Utah Trip
Grab your girlfriends and get away for three nights (doable right?) at the Waldorf Park City in a 3-bedroom suite on December 2, 3 and 4, 2021. Done and Done. I love that it’s luxurious, a winter getaway, and for designated dates. (I’m starting with the best and working my way down.)

Bird Giclee print by the local artist Liza Snyder
This piece is iconic to Liza’s work and says “little girl’s room” to me. I purchase a piece of art every year for my daughter’s birthday, so that when she leaves “our nest” she’ll have her own collection to set up house. This one would be perfect to add to that collection! And super affordable.

Private Tennis Lesson from TJ Middleton at Alys Beach’s ZUMA Fitness
Ok, I’m thinking this would be a great gift for my husband, a visiting friend, or maybe for myself!

30A Smiles Tightie Whitie
Ok, so this one made me chuckle, but we could all use a little mid-winter refresher right? Botox and teeth whitening in one.  Sign me up.

Tammy Fender Beauty Travel Kit
You had me at holistic, beauty and 3-week supply. I’m thinking this kit, provided by Willow + Mercer, is the perfect time and price to try a new beauty regimen that I normally wouldn’t purchase for myself during my routine beauty-product run.

BOTE Inflatable Dock FX
I went to purchase one of these last summer and they were impossible to find. Sold out. I’m dreaming of warmer temps around the corner and planning in advance this year. Could use at the beach, on the Bay or on vacation at the lake. I want it!

Florida Boy Adventures
My husband always gifts his clients with fishing charters, and I also sign the kids up for trips with Captain Hunter Ray, but we NEVER think about doing this for ourselves. Again, I’m thinking warmer weather, four friends and a boat. Enough said.

Bagels and Coffee for a year for two
You know that friend you always intend to invite over for coffee and never quite get around to it? Or your neighbor you mention at least once a week in passing that you should have over for coffee? This is the perfect solution to set me straight so that I book my coffee dates on my calendar, monthly. I love this idea so much!

Cheeseboard and Cocktails delivered to your door
Cheeseboards seem to be all the rage lately, especially having someone else do it for you. I love this offering both for the ingredients and the experience. Perfect opportunity to invite another couple over for trivia night or just schedule a date at home with my husband.

Demerbox DB2 Speaker
I can think of about a hundred different reasons that I want and NEED this. I won’t bore you with all of those details here, but cheerleading practice for my daughter, birthday parties, or using in our new backyard come to mind. Who doesn’t need a rocking Bluetooth speaker?
