Rec Stinnett, Destin, FL

  • Running philosophy: Running is a pure sport. All it takes is some shoes and clothing and you can go. With folks or by yourself.
  • Last year Rec paced the 9:30 race pace for Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K
  • His favorite part of the Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K is the lululemon cheer squad!

Omar Mulla, Fairhope, AL

  • Omar is the 10:00/mi pacer for the Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K
  • Running philosophy: Running gives us an immediate opportunity to condition ourselves to stress and overcome adversity.
  • Omar’s favorite thing about the Seaside School Half Marathon is how all the proceeds benefit local education efforts.

Alex Weiner, Santa Rosa Beach, FL

  • Alex is the 9:00/mi pacer for the Seaside School Half Marathon
  • Running Philosophy: It’s truly is “run-therapy” for her! A mental escape and a chance to tune into the body.
  • Alex attended Seaside Neighborhood School for middle school so she knows the importance of this race! She loves being able to stay involved by volunteering.

Leo Tyska, Santa Rosa Beach, FL

  • Favorite quote: “Life is not a spectator sport”
  • Leo is aiming to run a marathon in all 50 states!
  • Running philosophy: Running is a great way to see new things and stay positive.

Clarissa Seales, Miramar Beach, FL
