In addition to supporting the Seaside School, joining a huge community of runners, accomplishing a goal and a huge host of other motivating factors, registering for the Virtual Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K comes with some major perks.

Year after year, registered participants leave race weekend with a treasure trove of goodies, gifts and giveaways that serve as lasting mementos.  The 2021 virtual event will continue that tradition and feature some very real (and some virtual) swag for our runners.

As with every year, every runner will receive a custom finisher medal and a Billie Gaffrey-designed race shirt, an annual tradition that is truly a wearable work of art. Long-time presenting sponsor Vera Bradley is combining design and functionality for this year’s runner’s gifts; every registered runner will receive a Vera Bradley ReActive Sling Backpack and a Vera Bradley Pleated Facemask.

This year, for the first time, runners will have access to a virtual training program led by race sponsor lululemon Grayton Beach. We’ve even created customized playlists for your at-home training or to keep you moving on race day.  Beginning with the 2019 race, we transitioned from the tradition goodie bag full of sponsor offers and giveaways to a virtual goodie bag. We’ll be doing that again this year making the event as environmentally-friendly as possible. As we get closer to the race window, registered runners will receive their virtual goodie bag via email and it will be full of offers and gifts that can be redeemed online.

Staying true to race traditions, all runners will receive a numbered bib and finisher certificate, but this year, like the race itself, they will be of the virtual variety.

This virtual race promises to deliver even more runner gifts, perks, bonuses and treats than ever.  After completing the race, you’ll be able to slip on that finisher medal and relish in all of the gear that awaits every registered runner in the Seaside Half Marathon & 5K.
