The 2022 Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K is coming back live and in person for the 20th running on February 20, 2022. A true weekend experience, this three-day event kicks off with amazing coastal cuisine at the Taste of the Race on Friday, February 18, 2022, plenty of fun for all ages at the Race Expo on Saturday, February 19, 2022, and the running of the Half Marathon + 5K along the iconic Highway 30A starting and finishing in Seaside on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Proceeds from the 2022 Seaside School Virtual Half Marathon + 5K & Race Weekend benefit the Seaside School, Inc. Founded in 1996, The Seaside School, Inc. was one of the first and is now one of the oldest surviving public charter schools in the state of Florida. The Seaside School opened to 36 students, 2 faculty members and a single administrator serving students in sixth through eighth grades. Today, the school has expanded to fifth through twelfth grades serving around 400 students.
For the past 25 years, our ambitious staff, involved parents and supportive community have led the Seaside Schools, comprised of the Seaside Neighborhood School and Seacoast Collegiate High School, to be consistently recognized as leaders at both state and national achievement levels.
2022 Target Audiences
The 2022 event marks the 20th running of our Race, and we look forward to gathering in person and proudly sharing our ambition, mission and success with our community. Marketing for the 2022 Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K & Race Weekend will target the following demographics drawn from over of a quarter of a century serving students in Walton County, as well as 19 years of hosting a amazing Race experience:
